Animal Tales for
Autumn 2017

Dear Supporter

Welcome to our Autumn Newsletter for Romania Animal Rescue and Animal Spay Neuter International! What an amazing year so far! We have achieved our target to spay and neuter 60,000 dogs and cats this year. This has only been possible because of your continued support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are a vital part of Romania Animal Rescue's team. All of this is possible because of YOU!

The Center of Hope is getting busier everyday with more and more dogs and cats being brought to us for urgent medical treatment. We have an update on hospital patients at the Center of Hope and at our clinic in Craiova.

We hope you enjoy reading about the work that you are making possible. You are making a huge difference to the lives of so many dogs and cats. Thank you for your compassion and care for animals that have no one else to care for them.

Mammary Tumors: An Important Reason To Spay Female Dogs and Cats

Cancerous tumors affect animals as well as humans. Research into mammary tumors in dogs and cats have found a way to significantly reduce the chance of an animal developing mammary tumors later in life. It turns out that the timing of a spay plays a significant role in helping an animal beat the odds.

The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, and program and cost effectiveness. These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world.
