A hospital for the homeless and needy. We strive to help around four thousand animals annually and spay/neuter between 8000-10,000 animals yearly, depending on funding. All this involves many costs, so we turn to you for support. Every dollar makes a difference, so be a part of this project by supporting any amount you can afford.
All animals, stray or not, abandoned or well looked after, pure breed or mixed, are welcome at the Center of Hope. Of course, our focus is on the homeless and needy. The center welcomes complex cases from other regional charities and will provide the best veterinary care, from routine check-ups and minor surgery to emergency procedures and recovery physical therapy. The Center of Hope also hosts veterinary training camps where vets from all over the world come to learn highly skilled techniques.
OUR HISTORY
Seven years ago, we started the most radical project for animals needing medical care in Romania called the "Center of Hope." We began with six employees and now have 23. The center opened its doors in Spring 2017 to provide veterinary care to stray animals and impoverished families in Romania as funding allows.
In Oct of 2022, we opened an extension offering a new castration center and a training center, in addition to existing facilities, which include sterile surgery rooms, spay rooms, digital x-ray, intensive care unit, ultrasound room, isolation wards, and much more. The entire hospital, including the addition, is built with "green technology" (solar panels, electric car charging, etc.), which means that more funds go to help the animals instead of paying high utility costs.
