Romania Animal Rescue, Inc. carried out a DHLPP Vaccination program with major support from LUSH, who sponsored a grant for 1000 vaccines, with help from our friends Ariane and May, and from the donors, ASNI and RAR were able to provide over 3000 vaccinations.
Vaccines are vital to the health and longevity of dogs and cats. So many potentially deadly and debilitating diseases are just a vaccine away from attacking the innocent.
When rescuers and caregivers cannot afford vaccines they often resort to superstition. This dog (white dog with the burned nose) has had her nose burnt in order to ward off distemper, so the caregiver believed. Thankfully she came to the Center of Hope to be vaccinated properly.
